A New Chapter for Easy Duplicate Finder
Version 8 represented the largest technological advancement in the history of Easy Duplicate Finder by introducing a next-generation duplicate detection engine capable of finding both exact duplicates and similar photos and music files.

Easy Duplicate Finder now includes a Tree View that organizes duplicate groups into a familiar folder hierarchy.

NEW macOS Photos Scan
The new macOS Photos Scan mode allows Easy Duplicate Finder to work directly with Apple’s Photos library.

Smarter Results Organization
Duplicate groups are automatically sorted by total storage size. Additional workflow improvements include Export Visible Columns, Improved Safe Group Selection, Better Column Reordering, and Faster Navigation.
Expanded Media Support
Additional music support includes OptimFROG, SPX, HLS, and APE formats. New music metadata columns are available in Standard Scan and Folder Comparison. Expanded image preview support provides a more complete review experience.
Performance Improvements
Highlights include faster scanning, reduced memory consumption, improved responsiveness, better stability, improved navigation, and additional bug fixes.
